Brakeman Consulting Group…
People ask me all the time why it is that I picked a name like Brakeman. Years ago a brakeman played a role in the railroad engineering process. His job was to ride atop a train as it rolled down the track to its destination; checking the integrity of the linkages between train cars and applying braking mechanisms to make certain that each car rolled at the same speed. By playing this role he insured the safe delivery of goods to consumers. Human and social service organizations, like trains, follow unique and specialized routes to deliver goods and services to those in need. Like the brakeman, BCG is designed to research the best delivery routes, analyze the linkages between organizational systems, moderate the speed of different organizational aspects to insure the safe and effective delivery of needed services. Our motto is, “on top to keep your non-profit on track.”
